Special packaging and even active after-sales have become brand differentiators
in almost six years on the Brazilian market.
It is no coincidence that BYD Energy has become a benchmark and is the leading seller of photovoltaic modules in the domestic market. In almost six years of operation in Brazil, the company has stood out for delivering excellence to consumers. High technology, a commitment to quality and sustainability are just three of the pillars that surround the development of the brand's products.

But that's not all. Some details that go somewhat unnoticed by the customer make the difference for a company that, at the end of last year, reached the historic milestone of two million photovoltaic modules produced at its factory in Campinas (SP). This is the case with packaging. Those produced by BYD Energy, for example, are twice as thick as the market. This generates a resistance of 34 kgf per centimeter, compared to 15 kgf used by other brands. It's a great differentiator.

"Our packaging has a structural function that allows the modules to be stacked without excessive strain, avoiding micro-cracks. It not only packs the product, but because it is on average ten millimeters higher than the height of the modules, it has a column that allows the modules to be stacked without damage. Today, there is no packaging like ours in Brazil," says Marcelo Taborda, Sales Director at BYD Energy do Brasil.
To give you an idea of the level of quality, the packaging of the photovoltaic modules produced in China is of the same standard as that manufactured in Brazil. Everything suits the interests of BYD Energy's Brazilian arm. "The same packaging standard that we have for the domestic module is applied to the imported module," explains the executive.

Attentive to the market
BYD Energy invests in quality. To test the power of its modules, it uses a high-precision Swiss tester, one of the safest and most reputable in the photovoltaic market. As a result, it always provides accurate information on the reference value. "We will never have a product sold with a lower efficiency than the one on the label," explains the executive.
Some photovoltaic modules sold by BYD Energy are imported from China. Many consumers see the after-sales service for this type of product as a concern. This is not the case with BYD Energy. "For us, it doesn't matter whether the panel is domestic or imported. It's BYD Energy that responds, we take care of it and guarantee the quality," adds Marcelo Taborda.
