Event takes place today and tomorrow in Fortaleza (CE)
BYD Energy is present at 4th Intersolar Summit Brazil Northeastwhich takes place between April 10 and 11, in Fortaleza. At the event, the company announces yet another innovation: the 610W photovoltaic modulewhich will be directed mainly at farms and solar power plants.
"It is an ideal module for these spaces because it is compact and efficient, optimizing the use of physical space for solar collection. Its differential is that it delivers high powers and reduces the costs of fixed structures and trackers in ground-mounted photovoltaic plants, thus reducing the investment cost of building photovoltaic plants and consequently reducing the cost of the energy generated," says Rodrigo Garcia, Research and Development Manager at BYD Energy.
The Intersolar Summit Brasil Nordeste is expected to attract around 100 exhibiting companies in a 5,000 m² space, with more than 5,000 visitors expected. "BYD's presence at this event in the Northeast, a very important region with a growing market for renewable energy generation, is essential. Our solutions can contribute greatly to this expansion and optimize solar plants so that they become more efficient and cost less to invest in," adds Garcia.
The new 610W BYD photovoltaic module will be produced at the factory in Campinas (SP) and is scheduled for sale in the second half of this year. As well as announcing the launch of this new product first hand, BYD Brasil, the country's leading producer of photovoltaic modules, is also showing other technologies already available on the domestic market.
BYD Integrated Solution
greentech is also taking advantage of the event in the Northeast to showcase its integrated BYD solution, which covers energy generation, storage and application. It includes photovoltaic modules, hybrid or off-grid inverters, lithium batteries and electric vehicle chargers. BYD charger range
Recently, BYD continued its path of encouraging electric mobility in Brazil and launched a new sales and business model, which incorporates fast and ultra-fast chargers for greater convenience for users of electrified cars. The lineup includes two groups of chargers - AC (alternating current), with 7 and 22 kW, and DC (direct current) models with 60 kW, 120 kW, 150KW, 180kW, as well as Grid Zero, with up to 210 kW, a model that uses BYD battery technology to be safer, more reliable and more efficient. The models will be sold in two market lines: residential and public.
Grid Zero is an ultra-high-tech model that has a more balanced energy consumption, relieving the grid, unlike other fast chargers, which absorb energy very sharply. Despite achieving a recharging speed of 210 kW, it only consumes 60 kW from the grid. When not in use, the Grid Zero charger stores the energy in the battery. Thus, when charging a vehicle, part of the energy from the grid and part from the battery is used.
